Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) was an Austrian occultist, social reformer, architect, esotericist, and claimed clairvoyant. He was a great master and most of his esoteric lectures are now available on a Youtube channel dedicated to his work. A fascinating journey if you want to learn more about the spiritual secrets of Life, Nature and the Cosmos.
However true it may be that we have estranged ourselves from Nature, it is nonetheless true that we feel we are in her and belong to her. It can be only her own working which pulsates also in us. We must find the way back to her again.
Rudolf Steiner

But then our solitude is overcome, we are no longer alone, for we find that our innermost self is the spirit, that it is God, the indivisible. And suddenly we find ourselves in the midst of the world, yet undisturbed by its multiplicity, for our innermost soul we know ourselves to be one with all being.”

THE MAGIC OF BELIEVING
Phyllis Diller (1917-2012) was the first female stand up comic. She read the 1948 self-help book ‘The Magic of Believing” by Claude Bristol and said it changed her life.
When I moved to the US, I started watching a lot of classic American Comedy and I came across these interviews in 2012. That was the beginning of my metaphysical journey. Self-help was the baby step towards a deeper soul search.
ANATOMY OF AN ILLNESS
Phyllis also loved the book “Anatomy of an illness” by Norman Cousins. Written in 1979, it describes how the author cured himself from a a life threatening illness through laughter. The Mind can achieve anything if you learn how to use it.
SMILE
Phyllis recorded this version of Charlie Chaplin’s Smile with The Pink Martini before her death. Her last message to this world.
