when you touch the earth

 For the past few years, I have been spending most of my time in nature.

This is where I had many revelations about the true nature of reality.

The most shocking revelation was when I witnessed other people interacting with nature. For the most part, they treat nature like a background to their activities. There is no reverence to the sacred aspect of nature. Nature is who we are and we are also sacred.

Yet the cancer that is that artificial society that is affecting so many mentally, physically or spiritually goes so deep, most people are unaware of this basic truth. And they behave accordingly. With disregard for the life and the spirits that are everywhere in nature. Driving through Yellowstone, you see how even the roads were built with such disrespect. Cutting mountains in half, bringing noise and disturbance against the flow of the rivers.
